Scope Of Works

HMLR Croydon is an 11 Story building with a wet central heating system that had been fed by fed by 3 No MHS/Elco Ultramax 374 boilers that were about 15 years old and two of these boilers had cracked heat exchangers. As the building was running on one boiler, at short notice were instructed to supply and install a new set of boilers. At short notice, we sourced 3 x new MHS/Elco TRIGON XL400 boilers and flues which in turn were to be linked into the existing TREND BMS system. These were installed as part of a cascade system. A new 1114Kw Plate heat exchanger was installed on the circuit separating the primary circuit separated from the secondary circuit. With the installation of the plate heat exchanger, there were extensive alterations of the pipework to suit the new plant and equipment. On completion of the works, the installation was all insulated with a silver foil lagging as per the client’s request.
